This course designed to help develop your practice within a supportive community. Open to all, whether you reside in London or elsewhere, or are unable to visit our studios, this class takes a practical approach to enhancing your skills in portraiture and figurative painting.
Under Tim’s expert guidance, you’ll study both systematic and creative techniques for working with the figure and face. Through a variety of drawing and painting methods, you will learn how to capture expressive subjects on your canvas with clarity and confidence. Tim’s mastery of colour mixing will help you refine your oil palette, allowing you to create captivating ambient light effects and fully explore the potential of oil mediums. Benefit from personalised one-on-one sessions as well as dynamic group tutelage, all designed to support you in building a body of work among fellow artists.
About the tutor
Tim Patrick
Tim Patrick (b. 1988) is a London based Artist who initially studied portraiture at the Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy (2008-10) prior to that he studied in Kingston University (2006-07).
