‘The Cutting Edge’ with Johanna Melvin 16 – 17 June 2018

This weekend course allows painters to further explore their own paint management techniques, adding new skills and creating further possibilities for the application of paint, in particular the creation of hard-edges and clean lines through application of various types of paint, paint mediums and other materials.

If you’ve ever looked at the consummate hard-edge skills of painters such as Frank Stella, Roy Lichtenstein or Michael Craig Martin to mention just a few, and wondered ‘how did they do that!?’ then this course could help to inform and equip you with the means to add such skills to your vocabulary as a painter.
