Welcome to our Monday evening Painting Group with Adam Dix. An eight week course which gives students an opportunity to learn painting from scratch or develop their work further whilst receiving guidance from a professional painter in a supportive community of artists.

This class is limited to 6 participants only to maximise on tutor/student contact time.

Season special: Bookings made before 25th December get a 10% discount.

This class is good for individuals who are beginners to painting or returning to painting. The course may suit artists who are established in other mediums but who wish to learn how to translate ideas into paint and need technical help, encouragement and guidance to do so.

The course is intended to increase technical understanding and ability, confidence, creativity and a sense of direction. Adam’s aim is to help each student to clarify and develop short and long term goals.

Adam Dix, graduate of Middlesex Polytechnic (BAfa) and Wimbledon College of Art (MAfa), lives and works in London.  Winner of the Griffin/ Winsor & Newton studio Artist residency 2016 Adam is also the recipient of the Florence Trust (2013) and the Jealousy Art Residency Prize (2009)

Adam’s Solo exhibitions include Yesterday’s Prophets. Eleven. London (2013) and Urban Nature, Royal Overseas League, London (2004, toured to Edinburgh in 2005). Recent group exhibitions (all 2015) include The Mdina Biennale, Malta; Modern Mythology, Space W10 The Contemporary, London; Strange Cities, Onassis Cultural Centre, Athens and New York.
