We will look at contemporary artists who work in this way such as Marlene Dumas and practice entering into a bold relationship with our medium and subject, understanding that by giving way to chance we are also opening the image to the unexpected, the unknown and by choosing what to keep and what to discard, intuiting our way to some profoundly beautiful and mysterious images.
