THIS CLASS IN NOW FULL
“The myth of oil painting is that it is a laborious and technical process. On this course you will discover ways of working intuitively with oil paint, enjoying the process of wet-on-wet painting, working directly on coloured grounds. There will be an emphasis on exploring the complexity of colour, on developing a palette particular to your subject, and discovering how colour influences the sense of space and place and light in a painting.”
We will work on a series of small prepared boards, building confidence in paint handling and developing imaginative compositions from personal reference material such as notes, sketches and magazine pictures.
Below Moyna talks about her work, graduate studies and what influences her work.
