Neil Gall

Neil is a London based painter of Scottish descent (Aberdeen). A graduate of Gray’s (1991) and the Slade (1993), Neil works across a diverse media, through a multifaceted process from drawing and painting, photography and sculpture. Art materials include found things that the sprawling metropolis of London throws his way or that he comes across from plastic toys, rubber bands to hand-made products. Neil’s works in collage encapsulate figuration and abstraction, painting and sculpture, colour and black and white, combine drawing, collage and montage, with layering techniques1.
