Fees: £440

Through a series of days held fortnightly you will have one to one tutorials and group discussions, focused on developing your personal areas of inquiry and intuitive response in your painting practice. It will also provide guidance and teaching about the various painting methods, processes and materials relevant to the practice.

The course is aimed at a range of levels of experience, helping those new to abstraction to find a way into their practice, whilst those already experienced will find support in formulating and sustaining their practical research area, developing skills and techniques, and building confidence.

Although the main focus of the course is practical, also included are presentations and debates about the contexts, history and various discourses surrounding the subject of abstract painting.
