On Friday you’ll spend the day in Kew Gardens  looking at and drawing the flowering gardens with the spring bulbs and trees bursting with colour.

On Saturday and Sunday  we return to the studio where you will bring to life in oil or acrylic what we drew, photographed and memorised over the weekend. There will opportunities for group discussions and one on one coaching from Rosemary. On Saturday morning Rosemary will also have a short slide show of her recent works and there will demonstrations on how she approaches her painting; giving you the opportunity to observe a master artist at work.

About Andrew Wamae

Andrew Wamae is the Director and co-founder of the Essential School of Painting (ESOP). He has a deeply held belief in the power of art to transform lives and society, and a particular interest in exploring new models for art education beyond school; championing the twin ideals of excellence and affordability in a highly pressurised sector when university fees are soaring and student/ tutor contact time is at an all time low. Andrew is particularly keen to ensure that the visual arts continue to be supported and thrive well.
