The Essential School of Painting is pleased to present a talk by Turner prize winning artist Grayson Perry CBE RA entitled ‘Why I am not a Painter’ followed by a Q & A session hosted by the school’s President Sandy Moffat OBE RSAThe talk will be held in the intimate settling of the historic Great Room at the RSA House, surrounded by the magnificent murals depicting ‘The Progress of Human Knowledge and Culture’ by James Barry RA (1741-1806). The room has a sitting capacity of 180 people, therefore, we encourage you to book early.

The Tickets are divided into two types:

1) £40 TICKETS Ticket price includes the talk plus wine reception, and a selection of exotic nibbles, from 6pm to 7pm in the Benjamin Franklin Room. click here to book.

Please note there are a limited number of seats and tickets. Seats are numbered to the corresponding ticket number. If you are booking more than one ticket please book to a maximum of six tickets at a time. If you are coming as a couple or group (no more than 6) and intend to sit together pay for all tickets at the same time. Seats are allocated on a first come basis and there is no selection of seats or seat positions.

ACTIONS to take AFTER BOOKING

Once you have booked please email us your full name, postal address and ticket number(s) via Grayson at TheESOP we will need this information to post your tickets to you. If you have booked multiple tickets please include the names of the individuals who will be joining you. Tickets will be posted on or before the 22nd of February. Any tickets booked after the 22nd will be collected at the door.
