Rosemary Beaton

Rosemary Beaton returns to The Essential School of Painting with this new course on drawing and painting nature. We look to capture/experience the beauty of new spring growth; fresh new greens and the splash of colour as flowers come to full bloom.

Course outline:

On Saturday you’ll spend the day in London’s Kew Gardens (course fees include the day’s entry): At this time of the year the flowering gardens are at their best with the spring bulbs and trees simply bursting with colour.

On Sunday we return to our studios in Bethnal Green where we bring to life in oil or acrylic what we drew, photographed and memorised on Saturday… What better way is there to take in the spring than sending a weekend drawing, sketching and painting spring growth?
