Explore making portraits with an expressive emphasis. Looking at unconventional starting points from which to build an emotional response to colour and form bringing out the character of the sitter and the subjective response of the artist.
With some guided exercises we will explore experimental and playful approaches to drawing and painting portraits allowing us to arrive at unexpected and surprising results.
