Drawing as an aid to mindfulness, mindfulness as an aid to drawing.
Join Alison for a day at the British Museum between 10am and 5pm. Some basic materials and lunch provided.
The British Museum is filled with a wide variety of seated and standing Buddha figures from different eras and regions. Contemplating these ancient symbols of wisdom and compassion through drawing can have a profound effect.
Beginning with the simple practise of observational drawing we will continue until later in the day we explore what arises with a more intuitive approach using colour.
