Sandy Moffat is a master portrait painter. Over his long career his work has been shown in numerous exhibitions and galleries including the Scottish National Galleries and recently the Peacock Visual Arts Gallery in Aberdeen. A former head of painting and design at Glasgow School of Art he is a skilled and patient teacher of his art-form and all his classes at the Essential School of Painting are very well received.
During this weekend class ‘Approaches to a Portrait’ Sandy will talk about his latest works and how he goes about preparing, starting and working through a portrait project. There will opportunity to have both group and one to one discussions.
